A squealing air compressor isn’t as scary as it sounds

Have you ever noticed a squealing sound on a new Gentilin air compressor?

Often when you hear strange noises like this on a new machine you immediately assume it is faulty which can be really frustrating as we all know how exciting it is to open up a new bit of kit!

Before you panic and want to take your compressor back to the shop, watch this video by Sprayman UK.

As Mike explains the diaphragm within the regulator is quite hard for the first few days making it vibrate resulting in the squealing. However, within a few days of use, this does loosen up and the sound stops completely.

This is nothing to worry about, just a new machine breaking itself in!
